Dr. Jeffrey Sweat is a Sacramento plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Sweat received his medical degree and became a general surgery resident at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Sweat served his plastic surgery residency at the University of California - Davis. He is board-certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery and has taken on many challenging emergency trauma and reconstructive surgeries, as well as cosmetic procedures at Mercy Medical Group.

Growing up in a rural area, Dr. Sweat witnessed the impressive role doctors played in shaping the overall health of the community and was inspired to go into the medical field. Now, he says, he gets the chance to help people every day.

“As a plastic surgeon, I enjoy the unique opportunity to help people heal both physically and emotionally, and feel better about themselves,” Dr. Sweat says.

His special clinical interests include breast surgery, body contouring and facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Sweat is one of two Sacramento plastic surgeons on the Mercy Medical Group Plastic Surgery team.
